For this piece, one of my first efforts in the electroacoustic idiom, I recorded the sounds of the suspended glass bowls which complement the percussion section of my hand made microtonal orchestra. The bowls, cut demijohns of the sort used in winemaking, have more than one mode of vibration. In order to explore their rich inharmonic spectrum I used Composer's Desktop Project software to process the recorded sounds.
